Eichbaum - Tradition and Creative Engineering in Harmonyy
Over 330 years ago in Mannheim, Germany, Wallone Jean du Chène founded a tavern with its very own in-house brewery. He named it after the German translation of his French family name - Eichbaum. From these modest beginnings, a brewery has arisen that now brews world-class beers using in strict accordance with the Reinheitsgebot (German Purity Law of 1516). It means only malt, hops, yeast and water are used to brew their pristine beers. Eichbaum combines the use of age-old brewing methods with creative modern technology to brew some of the finest beers on the market today.
